KIDZONE


Families will be welcomed into this expansive area with an emphasis on family fun! Boasting more entertainment and interactive activities for all ages…..then ever before!  The KidZone is located in the CentrePlex Courtyard (behind CentrePlex building in center of all the ball fields) Come and enjoy mascots, jugglers, magicians, comedians, disc dog demonstrations and much, much more!  And don’t miss the daily BI-LO BIRTHDAY BASH! The BILO KidZone area is tobacco and alcohol free and this area will keep the entire family entertained.

Opening - Janey Turner of Hands for Soldiers.  She will open with the National Anthem and a few other songs. Hands for Soldiers was started December 2003 when Janey was eight. The last four years she has been able to reach over 11,000 soldiers with her special thank you.   Everyone is encouraged to visit her table to create their own hand for a soldier.

1—Steve Brogan—AMAZING ventriloquist.  Performing world wide and making a stop right here at FWA.  Watch as he actually, turns someone from the audience into one of his dummies.  Or was that person a dummy already???

2—Blue Moon Puppets—Husband-wife team Pamela Shook & Stephen Clifford began Blue Moon Puppets after 30 years combined experience in professional theatre and puppetry at such notable places as Kennedy Center, Atlanta's Center for Puppetry Arts, and the Henson International Festival of Puppet Theatre in New York.

3—David Dimuzio  - International Juggling Champion.  Making a stop on land for us at FWA after several stints on cruise ships all over the seas.  He’s even performed abroad many times.

3.30 The Comedy Magic of Ric Singleton—a high energy audience participation show.  Ric has performed on cruise ships, festivals all over the country, the Kennedy Center and so much more. 

4 BI LO BIRTHDAY BASH—if your birthday is ANYtime this year…come and we’ll all celebrate with free ice cream, cup cakes, and coca cola from BI LO.

7—David Dimuzio Concert—Remember our juggler?  Well...he’s just released a music CD and is celebrating with us here at FWA with a special family concert.  His music is just as wonderful as his juggling.

FAMILY FIELD DAY



Mon., May 26

12 Noon – 3:00 PM

Fun for the entire family so “moms, dads, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters”….plan to come and compete in the Field Day activities!  From three-legged races, sack races, obstacle courses, 20 yard dash, water balloon race, agility run and much more!  Definitely something for everyone in this Memorial Day family event!  Thanks to Steadman Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas!
